Jenny M. Lin, Artist at North American Pastel Artists Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the art industry.
A prolific figure in her field, Ms. Lin has been acting chair of the North American Pastel Artists Association in New York City since 2005, as well as an organization funder for the National Association of Women Artists since 2004. Previously working in a variety of capacities, such as dental assistant, teacher, and pharmacy technician, Ms. Lin has adored art from a very young age and has aspired to delve into the field full-time. She has been in several one-woman shows at the 99 Degree Art Center and was a featured cover page in Taipei.
To prepare for her diverse occupations, Ms. Lin sought a formal education, first obtaining a degree in pharmacy from the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at Tianjin University in 1973. She went on to earn a degree in fine arts from Youngstown State University in 1988, as well as a degree in dental auxiliary from the School of Dental Medicine at Tufts University in 1989. She has since become a registered constitutional officer in the state of New York.
Alongside her professional responsibilities, Ms. Lin also serves as an organizer for the National Association of Women Artists, which she founded in 2005, and she is an artist with the Taiwanese American Association of New York. A respected voice in her industry, she maintains affiliation with several organizations, including the American Artists Professional League, the Connecticut Pastel Society, Audubon Artists, North American Pastel Artists Association, the Pastel Society of America, and as president of the New York chapter of the North America Taiwanese Women’s Association.
In recognition of her exceptional accomplishments, Ms. Lin has been honored with several accolades throughout her career. Most recently, she was presented with the Audubon Painting Award by the Allied Artists of America in 2008. Previously, she received a Gold Medal from Audubon Artists in 2006, the K. Wright and Aileen C. Award from the Taiwan Center in 2005, the Pastel First Prize from Pen and Brush in 2005, the Rebecca Borja Award in 2004, and the Pastel Society of Maine Award by the Connecticut Pastel Society in 2004. Likewise, she has been honored with inclusion into several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women. In 2017, she was further named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who’s Who.
